ALASKA POLLOCK
The Alaska pollock or walleye pollock (Gadus chalcogrammus) is a marine fish species of the cod genus Gadus and family Gadidae. It is a semi-pelagic schooling fish widely distributed in the North Pacific, with largest concentrations found in the eastern Bering Sea.
RAY FISH
Batoidea is a superorder of cartilaginous fishes commonly known as rays. Rays are distinguished by their flattened bodies, enlarged pectoral fins that are fused to the head, and gill slits that are placed on their ventral surfaces.
PACIFIC COD
The Pacific cod, Gadus macrocephalus, is a species of ray-finned fish in the family Gadidae. It can grow to a length of a meter or so and is found in large schools. It is an important commercial food species and is also known as gray cod or grey cod, and grayfish or greyfish.
GREENLAND HALIBUT
The Greenland halibut or Greenland turbot (Reinhardtius hippoglossoides) belongs to the family Pleuronectidae (the right-eye flounders), and is the only species of the genus Reinhardtius. It is a predatory fish that mostly ranges at depths between 500 and 1,000 m (1,600–3,300 ft), and is found in the cold northern Atlantic, northern Pacific, and Arctic Oceans.
OLUTORSK HERRING
Herring often move in large schools around fishing banks and near the coast, found particularly in shallow, temperate waters of the North Pacific and North Atlantic Oceans, including the Baltic Sea, as well as off the west coast of South America.

Food has always been my passion. Not only eating, but preparing and enjoying with other people, makes my life more colourful.
Since 2014, food became my fulltime profession. As CEO with North Pacific Seafood, I think we can support sustainable wild seafood and the responsibility to minimise our impact on the planet.

Mark Despinois is the founder of North Pacific Seafood Pte. Ltd. A young frozen seafood trading company, with extensive experience in supply chain, sales and developing and growing worldwide organizations.
Mark grew his career starting in supply chain at Océ Technologies and Royal Philips followed by 10 years in Biosensors International, a fast-growing medical company. There he went through all aspects of business from procurement to sales as director in Singapore and Indonesia.
Being in a very multi-cultural environment, working close with teams in Europe, USA and Asia, his passion for food grew even more. Born in Germany, being Dutch and living over 15 years in Asia Mark feels like a fish in the water trading with all countries in the world.
